How To Draw An Owl

Let’s draw this super cute owl. He’s so easy!

Owls. Super cute, super funky little creatures on wings. Yep, who doesn’t love a good owl drawing!

Best thing is…. they are so easy to draw. Now, there are many different types of owls out there, and at some point I may add more owls to this post but today we’re going to draw a super easy, cute litle fella who has a tidy addiction to coffee…

(Yeah, he’s channelling me… I love coffee and can’t get through my day without it!) So enjoy this how to draw an owl tutorial and let me know if you had fun in the comments below.

Step One

BOOM! Draw two eyes. They don’t even have to match!

SUPER TIP: if you draw one eye big and one eye small it will make your owl look drunk. hehe.

Step Two

Add in a little beak. It’s basically just a triangle with a rounded top.

Step Three

Owls come in all shapes and sizes. Our little guy is the type that has ear fluff. I just think this makes him look a bit cute and cray cray at the same time. 🙂

Step Four

Draw two fluffy looking lines down each side of the body and leave a gap at the bottom for the feet. I use quick little strokes when I’m drawing this. It’s a cheat way of making him look like he has feathers.

Step Five

Time to add his little owl feet. Claws is such a manky word…. Our little guy is way too cute for that.

Step Six

We’re on the home stretch! Wooo! Let’s give our little guy some wings. I like to add a few movement marks around the wings so he looks like he’s madly flapping in a failed attempt to take flight.

Step Seven

Then we’re done! That’s it!!!! Six steps to the cutest little owl ever. So easy to draw. Now colour him in. I went for a bubblegum blue motif with coffee addict bags under the eyes.

Coffee Time!

Give the little guy what he wants. A nice cup of soy coffee. (Yep, that’s my personal go-to if you hadn’t guessed).

Did you know Australia is unique in its coffee selection? A ‘Soy Flat White’ is my regular order but apparently you can only get it in Australia. Its like having a latte but full strength and without any annoying foam and with delicious high quality soy milk. So tasy. So delicious.

Hope you enjoyed! Mwah!
