Step By Step Drawing Cartoons
So, you wanna learn how to draw cartoons eh? You’re in the right place! Here on my site I break down how to draw a heap of different animals, trees, plants, humans, objects… all in an easy to follow, step by step way.
Each blog post on this page has an example of what you will draw at the top, followed by a snapshot of the different steps. If you keep scrolling, you’ll get detailed information on what to do for each step of drawing our cartoon.
At the time of writing this, my site is quite new and right now, I’ve just created a new YouTube channel so I can give you quick video tutorials as well if you prefer learning that way.
My own drawing style has always been cartoony. I draw some art deco and steampunk gothic fine art over on my other website if you want to check it out, but I needed a special home for all my super quirky cartoons and that’s why I created this site. I’ve always loved teaching too (if you like singing, I teach that on my music YouTube channel as well!)
Easy Drawing Lessons for Beginners
Hey, we’ve all gotta start somewhere right? That’s why for the first year of operating this site, I’m focusing on creating a new tutorial each week for beginners who want to learn to draw. After that, I’ll do some more advanced stuff.
Is this site for kids? Well… kids are always going to like cartoons but tbh this site isn’t made ‘specifically for children’. I like to draw about funny topics like in-law problems or relationship issues on my ‘Very Arty Blog’. I keep the language clean but the topics aren’t aimed at kids. Parents, there are lots of cool tutorials on here that are suitable, but maybe just keep them off the ‘Very Arty Blog’ part of the site depending on how old they are.

At the time of writing this I’d just gone through my calendar and planned all my tutorials up to April 2022!!! hahah… but there’s always room for more.
